Drag Strip and Motocross in Southern Utah?!?
Quail Creek Industrial Park located in Hurricane, Utah will shortly see a new tenant. Not a new manufacturer, not a new storage facility, but a new Drag Strip. Ground was broken recently for the Red Hills Raceway, which according to the Spectrum, is the first of many automotive and racing related projects to fill the area. The spectrum reports that the strip will cover 10 acres, allow room for 2,500 spectators.
March is the estimated completion date for the project. The developers of the project will also seek permission from the city to add a motocross track, a circle track, sand track and other automotive businesses.
